SENIORS FOR SENIORS
Our Seniors for Seniors Program pairs senior cats (7 years and older) with senior humans (65 years and older) for a match that benefits both! Adoption fees for seniors are reduced to $35, and BSR/CATNIP covers necessary veterinary care for the first 30 days and an annual wellness check-up. One of our volunteers is paired with each adopter to provide support as needed, and the cat can be returned to ORG at any time if circumstances change. Owning a pet reduces depression, loneliness, and stress. It’s good for the cats, too!
Adopting as part of our Seniors for Seniors Program is the same as applying for any adoption - click through to the adoption application below, or contact us for more info.
Things to Remember:
Adopting a pet requires a commitment of time, attention, and finances. We're happy to help you find a new pet, but ask that you consider carefully before making an application.
Experience has shown us that good relationships lead to successful adoptions. Communication and support work together to make connections that last. Our goal is to make a lifetime match between you and your new pet!
No matter how carefully we try, we know that some matches don't work. You can contact us at any time with questions or concerns, large or small, and we’re always able to take a pet back if things don’t work out.
Seniors for Seniors adopters pay a reduced adoption fee of $35.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and ready to go home!
