Vixen’s journey to Big Sky Ranch began when she and her brother were trapped as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Originally slated to be placed together as working barn cats, their adoption fell through on two separate occasions. Taking it as a sign, the ranch opened its heart and made a permanent place for the pair to call home.

Vixen is a master of stealth and prefers a quiet, hidden lifestyle. It is a rare treat to spot her out and about during the day, as she feels most comfortable taking life at her own cautious pace.

Her absolute favorite sanctuary spot? Tucked snugly under one of the chairs inside her secure nighttime catio, where she can observe the world in total safety, tucked away in the cozy shadows.
