Indah

Meet Indah: Our Miraculous, Love-Bug Beauty

Personality: Exceptionally sweet, affectionate snuggler, and an absolute miracle

Specialty: Purring in your arms and showing off her unique "Indah walk"

Special Needs: Daily bowel/bladder management, mobility treatments, and regular bath routines
Indah’s story is nothing short of extraordinary. She arrived at Big Sky CARES living with severe Manx Syndrome, missing all the lower vertebrae and nerves in her spine. When she first came to us, she was completely dragging her back end behind her.

Through an intensive, dedicated rehabilitation routine—including laser therapy, hydrotherapy, physical therapy, and acupuncture—Indah achieved what many thought impossible: she learned to walk again! While her gait is uniquely hers and extra cute, she gets around with incredible spirit and joy.

Because Indah lacks the spinal nerves that control her bowel and bladder functions, her body naturally empties whenever and wherever it sees fit—often completely unbeknownst to her, even while she's happily snuggling up to you for hugs! Because of the round-the-clock cleanup and care required, potential adopters felt they couldn't manage her needs. But at Big Sky CARES, Indah found her forever sanctuary in Kitty Park at our ranch alongside her favorite feline friends.

To keep her internal system running smoothly, Indah relies on specialized, daily medications (much like her sanctuary buddy Talbot). She also receives frequent, gentle bath routines from our dedicated staff to ensure she stays clean, comfortable, and healthy.

Indah is an absolute lovebug who thrives on being held, petted, and cherished. She is a living testament to what specialized care, patience, and love can accomplish.

By sponsoring Indah today, you directly help offset her specialized essential daily medications, and routine hygiene care—ensuring our little miracle girl continues living her absolute best life!
