Frieda is the brave mother of Ashland and Magnolia. She was rescued from a high-tension neighborhood where strict HOA rules and angry residents threatened her family's safety. When Big Sky CARES safely trapped the family, Frieda was a fierce feral mom doing everything she could to protect her babies.

Though she has spent years surrounded by safety and gentle care at Big Sky CARES, Frieda remains true to her wild, independent roots and retains a healthy caution around people. She lives happily outdoors on the sanctuary grounds, where she has established a peaceful routine.

Her favorite spot in the world is the tranquil, garden-lined walkway near the pool. In the mornings, as breakfast time approaches, Frieda loves lounging in the bushes, stepping out to politely "flirt" and meow from a comfortable distance while she waits for her morning meal.
