Flora Burn arrived at Big Sky Ranch when her previous owner fell ill and could no longer manage a growing household of cats. Coming from a crowded hoarding situation, Flora Burn grew up as an "indoor feral"—a kitty who lived inside a house, but never received the early handling and socialization needed to feel comfortable around humans.

Because Flora Burn spent her whole life indoors without human contact, the world can feel a bit overwhelming to her. But at Big Sky Ranch, we meet every cat right where they are. Since she has never been an outdoor cat, Flora Burn was given a home in our extensive catio system, providing her with the ultimate blend of safety, fresh air, and absolute freedom from pressure.

Now 8 years young, Flora Burn has turned lounging into a fine art. She spends her peaceful days wandering through the catios, soaking up the warm sunshine from a variety of cozy shelves, soft perches, and plush chairs. While she prefers to observe people from a comfortable distance, she is completely content living life on her own sweet terms.
