Curtis

Meet Curtis: Our Hero Blood Donor & Sunshine Enthusiast

Personality: Ultimate affection-seeker, proud hero, and sun-basking sweetheart

Specialty: Saving lives, following you for loves and compliments, and head-rubbing with his bestie

Role: Resident Lifesaver & Kitty Park Ambassador

Curtis’s story is a true zero-to-hero tale! He was originally pulled from a rural shelter’s euthanasia list as a timid feral kitten. In his early days at Big Sky CARES, staff searched for a working barn placement for him, but no placement ever worked out. Fortunately, Curtis had a change of heart: he completely "flipped" and realized that human affection is actually the best thing in the world!

Since then, Curtis has become a total attention-seeker and a legend at the sanctuary. He is a genuine hero cat who has served as a blood donor for Big Sky CARES, saving the lives of countless fellow kitties in critical medical need.

Today, this handsome, wonderfully plush boy spends his days roaming Kitty Park, keeping a close eye on visitors. The moment you step into the park, Curtis will follow you around step-for-step, just begging to be noticed, petted, and reminded of what a very good boy he is. When he isn't busy soliciting loves or soaking up the warm sun, you can often find him hanging out with his best cat buddy, Lennon, sharing adorable head rubs and gentle purrs.

Curtis is proof that second chances can create real-life heroes. By sponsoring Curtis today, you help support his daily care and nourish a sanctuary where former feral kittens grow up to save lives and steal hearts every single day.
