Bella originally found herself at a vet clinic after being surrendered for her "attitude." When she first arrived at Big Sky Ranch, she was defensive toward both people and other cats. But with time, safety, and understanding, Bella quickly let her guard down. Today, she has completely transformed into a total snuggle bug who purrs loudly the moment you give her attention! While she still prefers people over her feline roommates, she now peacefully tolerates other cats.
Bella is also our self-appointed "Purr-sonal Assistant." Whether she’s curling up on the chair with you, falling asleep right on top of the notebook you’re trying to write in, or lounging right next to the computer while you work, Bella insists on being part of whatever you’re doing!
At 14 years young, Bella is dealing with some significant dental challenges stemming from past dental work that left painful root bulbs behind. She requires an upcoming surgery to remove them, along with ongoing daily medical care - including a wet-food-only diet, steroids, and lifelong antiviral medications.
